Delete your data
tideline has no account and no user-data backend. Your library lives on your device and in your own iCloud, so you are always in direct control of deleting it.
1. Disconnect connectors (optional but recommended)
Before deleting the App, open tideline and disconnect any connectors (Slack, recorders, calendar, etc.). Disconnecting a connector removes that connector's access tokens from your device's Keychain and any derived items you have not chosen to keep. This also revokes tideline's read-only access to that service.
You can further revoke access from the service itself — for example, in your Slack workspace's connected-apps settings, or in your Google Account's third-party access settings if a Gmail connector is ever enabled.
2. Turn off analytics (optional)
If you previously opted in to anonymous analytics, open the App's settings and turn analytics off. To request deletion of any anonymous analytics events associated with your device, email privacy@trytideline.com.
3. Delete the app
Touch and hold the tideline icon on your Home Screen, choose Remove App, then Delete App. This removes tideline and its on-device data from that device.
4. Remove tideline data from iCloud
If you enabled sync, remove tideline's data from your iCloud so it is deleted across your devices:
- On your device, open Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
- Tap Manage Account Storage (or Manage Storage > Apps using iCloud).
- Select tideline and choose Delete Data from iCloud (wording varies by iOS version).
Deleting from iCloud removes the synced copy for all of your devices. Repeat step 3 on any other devices that had the App installed.
5. Cancel a subscription (separate from deletion)
Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. To cancel, open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device, select tideline, and cancel. Purchase records are held by Apple and RevenueCat for their own legal and financial record-keeping.
